Dr. Butler has a long and distinguished career as a faculty member, academic administrator, and international educator. As a scholar-practitioner, she brings a combination of skills that are critical to supporting Verto’s emergence as a leading study abroad program provider for first-year college students. In this role, Dr. Butler will provide leadership in building a robust academic infrastructure that will provide relevant and rigorous academic experience for diverse students served by experienced and engaged global faculty, while partnering with outstanding colleges and universities both in the US and abroad. She will also articulate a strategy that will keep Verto at the forefront of education abroad , ensuring that increasing numbers of diverse students will be able to access transformational experiences that prepare them to become academically successful and globally competent graduates. After a lengthy career as a scholar, professor and academic administrator, we are delighted to welcome Dr. Butler to this pivotal role at Verto Education.
